Let's face it - if you're looking at this product, you have someone with special needs (most likely vision). The buttons are big, they light up for easy use in a dim room and are not hard to learn. Yes, it's big and a little clumsy, but that's exactly what it sells itself as. If you're tech savvy and can see and handle buttons the size of a grain of rice on those $150 all-in-one remotes, then you don't need this item. But for seniors or someone visually impaired, this works great. It might not be compatible with EVERY product on the market, but - hey - this thing is only twenty bucks! I bought this for my dad and it's great. He used to have 4 remotes so he knew which component he was controlling depending on the remote in hand. All he had to learn with an all-in-one: EVERY time you pick it up you have to tell it which component you're trying to talk to. (Obvious to the under 30 generation, but not so to us older folks!) But he quickly learned it is ALWAYS a 2 button operation; ie
"TV"/"ON"
(or)
"VCR"/"PLAY"
(or)
"CABLE"/"VOLUME UP"
etc...
For the price, I bought two and keep one in back-up. After not using all the other remotes for a year or two, who wants to relearn THAT all over again?!

The Firefly is well built and the size makes it very convenient. Never had a failure with a Firefly drive. Write Speed is good at 7.4 MB/sec (5 GB in 11 minutes) but not as fast as the newer HP (PNY) drives at 9.8MB/sec.

Buy one (or two!) you won't regret it.

Fitting the wire strains into the load bar is a little tedious at first but it gets easier after a few trys. You may want to keep the strains longer so it is easier for your fingers to handle the strains.

I also have some difficulty pushing the cables into the connector after fitting the load bar. Takes a bit of force to push the cables in to the connector completely so the load bar can sit correctly before you crimp it.

Otherwise, its a good product. The load bars really helps. Much much easier to connect than the 1 piece connectors

I was needing a flash drive quick when I lost all my others, and found this on the listings. I had a 4 GB Red Verbatim flash drive before with good experiences with that. I bought this in the afternoon and thanks to Amazon Prime, had it a couple of days later. This drive is definitely durable since I'm a college student in technology classes, so this thing gets tossed around, plugged in and out at multiple various times during the day. It also always travels with me in my pocket, and no matter what has happened to my jeans, be they wet or dry, this thing stays kickin. One of the high points of this flash drive is the sliding mechanism. As you can see by the picture, the flash drive slides back into the casing when not being used. This allows it to stay compact while keeping the ending clean and clear. This mechanism is sturdy and you know it will stay open or closed. They didn't cheap out on the casing.
Overall, for the price and the storage it's a great buy that can't be beat.

There are still two reasons to buy this thumb drive over other choices. First, it's pretty cheap. They're more or less all the same on the inside, and they're all made in China, so there's not a lot differentiating the guts. Sometimes some cheap ones can be slow, doesn't seem to be the case here. Worked fine on a MacBook Pro and a Vista laptop.

Second, the loop at the end is big enough to hook into a keyring, which is exactly what I want it for. I have it clipped inside my backpack where it's always handy but not in danger of accidentally falling out.

I love that this fits on a key ring, and can be retracted into the casing. I password protect my files and use it for both work and personal use. When I travel, I don't have to take my computer if I can borrow one at my destination. I bought a second one of these to use as a short term backup.

So exited to get this for my new macbook pro --- unfortunately it is a horrible fit - it doesnt have enough areas that snap onto the body therefore it sags - blocking the cd drive and looking awful in general - a shame cuz i like the iphone feather ... talked to support - they said they have never heard of the problem - but I can not see how this fits with only a few attachments to the body ...check the pic I posted ...

-i bought this for my sister, she had it a month and the sides started cracking and it eventually broke. we had to superglue it cuz it's too pricey to buy a new one

-the bottom part doesn't fit as snug as speck cases.
-the bottom part doesn't stay on very well it leaves gaps and dirt gets it and that's what causes scratches as the dirt and grime creates friction in between the case and the macbook

This is a great pepper mill. It has a super action and produces a good amount of finely ground pepper dust easily. My one gripe is that it is not adjustable enough to serve up a coarser grind of a more 'cracked' pepper consistency. If you want loads of pepper dust, this is it, it will not be replacing my other mill that gives me a coarser grind that I often desire.

There is nothing wrong with the mill, the mill was designed to provide ultra fine to coarse grinds.
There is no way to get a 'very coarse' grind though. The thickest pieces are about the sames size you are going to get out of a pepper shaker.
